Frequently asked questions
Common questions about working with us.

How does your money-back guarantee work?
If you're not satisfied with your Home Energy Plan, let us know where we can improve and we'll refund your money. Simple as that. Terms here.
Do I need to pay for every stage, and if so when?
Payment for stages 1 & 2 are made in advance. Stage 3 is charged 50% in advance and the remaining 50% on completion. You'll only pay for the next stage if you choose to proceed.
What's included in my Home Energy Plan?
The cost of the home energy plan includes the survey, consultation and the plan itself. We'll ensure you understand everything in your plan and are able to make a decision on where to go next with your project. Take a look at an example home energy plan here.
How are project management fees calculated?
Fees are quoted based on the number of upgrades included and project complexity. We'll confirm the costs for stages 2 and 3 in a proposal after stage 1.
What affects the total cost of installation?
Installation costs vary based on your chosen upgrades and the requirements of your home. We provide estimates in your Home Energy Plan and confirm installation costs with installers in stage 2.
Are there any additional costs I should be aware of?
Our prices are inclusive of VAT and we do not look to hide any costs. Sometimes we need to get specialist surveys (eg relating to asbestos or damp) that we'd discuss before committing to them.
Are there any grants or funding options available?
Take a look at our blog here on funding your project.
What happens if costs change during the project?
We estimate all costs after Stage 1 and confirm installation costs with quotes at Stage 2. Our careful planning minimises surprises. We'll share a simple contract before stage 2 that details where costs can and cannot change so that we're all on the same page.
